Especially with boys. I hate it. I don’t know what your experiences are with other girls, but please feel free to tell it like it is with me. Seriously. If you want to go to bed tonight and don’t want me next to you, that’s fine. If you just want to watch the sports game and want me to shut the eff up, I can do that too. Of course, there has to be some sort of mutual respect, but I hate, read hate when guys are ambiguous.

Don’t show total interest in me while we’re on the date and then leave the follow up to me. That just makes me think that all you wanted was sex. And I want to believe that’s not true b/c you’re actually intelligent and just spent 5 hours discussing international politics with me. So what the fuck?

Obviously, I’m venting about on particular little juevito right now, but really, this pertains to all men. It make take me some time to get used to the truth, but I’d much rather had that than a mouthfull of sugary lies.

Although I whine in general, I only really make the whining noises when 1) I feel comfortable enough around you to do it, 2) I probably think of you as spoiling me or want you to spoil me— not overwhelmingly, just a little, and 3) I want something.

“I noticed that we ordered popcorn this month, which is great, except I absolutely hate (with a passion) the smell of popcorn. I realize that may make me a leper and the biggest anomaly since Carrot Top, but could you do me the favor of not opening the bag of micro waved deliciousness until you are far far away from the kitchen/my desk? I also only eat green Sour Patch Kids, but that’s more of a preference and not a makes me want to vomit all over the person who’s microwaving popcorn. :)

I’m a sucker (total!) for men in uniforms. They don’t even have to be that hot. I know it’s a huge stereotype, but I always get so disappointed during fleet week. I understand that not all navy guys are supposed to be single, hot and itching for some lovin’ (did I just say that?), but at least one!? Okay okay, so I don’t go to the parties at night. I’m not really thinking or trying to be deep. When I’m making this screwy sideways face, it’s because I’m chewing on the inside of my mouth. It’s kind of gross, but I’ve met at least one other person who does it (my roommate freshman year in college).

I originally meant for “El Manuel” to be an actual manuel. Something I wouldn’t necessarily hand out to people that I’m dating, but a cute reference library that they could refer to, once they’re determined that I’m not bad psycho. To help me start the process, I’m compiling various entries and random facts about me here.

Consider this a “how to” guide to me. From random fetishes to how to interpret my various non-human speech, I have it all.
